Smart Energy GB and the 国产无码 Trust
Helping communities take control of their energy use and hit their energy goals.
With energy costs rising, more and more people are finding it harder to manage their household bills. A smart meter can help you keep an eye on how much gas and electricity you or your family are using, and how much its costing.
Through the 国产无码鈥檚 partnership with聽, the 国产无码 Trust and Club Community Organisations throughout England and Wales want to help football fans understand their energy use through smart meters and in-home displays (IHD).
Smart meters are the next generation of gas and electricity meters.
Smart meters record how much electricity or gas you use 鈥 just like the existing meters you already have in your home. But smart meters also come with an in-home display, sometimes called an IHD. This shows you at a glance how much gas and electricity you鈥檙e using and how much you鈥檙e spending.
This is an open goal and we鈥檇 urge those who haven鈥檛 got one installed to get one.
Did you know that more than half of people in the UK have a smart meter in their home.
With a smart meter on your team, you can take control of your energy bills.
When you鈥檙e on a tight budget it can be a struggle to make ends meet. Even when you鈥檙e doing everything you can to save money.
A smart meter could make things a bit easier. Here鈥檚 how:
Seeing how much energy you鈥檝e used
Smart meters can help you save energy, but it鈥檚 not automatic.
Many people find the in-home display useful. It allows you to have more information about your energy usage. This could help you work out how to save energy and money around the home. For example, by switching the TV off at the wall.
Automated meter readings
Unlike traditional meters, a smart meter sends your gas and electricity readings directly to your energy supplier so you shouldn鈥檛 have to. That鈥檚 one less chore to do, very handy!
Say goodbye to estimated bills
Having a smart meter means getting a bill based on how much energy you used 鈥 not an estimate. This could take some of the guesswork out of balancing your budget.
